Decoded characters appear briefly on the center bar.

How to access it

1. Press MENU on the radio to open the menu.
2. Scroll with up/down arrows until you see D_Decd.
3. Press MENU again to enter the setting.
4. Use up/down to change the value, then MENU to save, or EXIT to cancel.

Related dtmf settings

• D_ST— DTMF side tone — hear your own DTMF tones in the speaker while transmitting
• D_Resp— DTMF response — radio response when it receives a DTMF command
• D_Hold— DTMF hold time — how long to hold on DTMF decoded channel
• D_Prel— DTMF pre-delay — pause before sending DTMF after PTT is pressed
• D_List— DTMF contact list — match incoming DTMF ANI against a stored contact name
